My head just might explode the very next time I am forced to hear the phrase "deceptively simple." Especially as applied to writing. You, sir or madam, are the one who is deceptively simple.

My hubs just had the same reaction to the expression "meticulous attention to detail" -- he wants people to come up with a new adjective to describe attention to detail, please!
How about "deceptively messy"?
